My oldest daughter Jessica is
getting ready to have her 18th
birthday this week on Wednesday.
I attached her Senior picture for you…

I am so proud of her. Jessica has always
been the easiest one of 3 girls to raise.
She started putting herself to bed at age 3
and has been very responsible about doing
her part to contribute to our household.
Jessica rarely complains about her chores
and does her homework without us asking.
See what I mean about easy to raise?
It is truly awesome to see someone her
age with so much focus and drive to succeed.
She knows exactly what she wants and is
going for it! She gives of herself in so many
ways to those that require support and love
with no strings attached.Jessica is an
inspiration to us all.

So, what is it that you want? What are you
focused on achieving? Are you creating the
life you dream of? Are you contributing to the
lives of others around you who need love and
support? Or are you just barely getting by and
focused on making ends meet? You might be
thinking…Jerry what is this all about? I would say
it is about you and I finding a way to free up our
personal resources of time, energy, and money
in order to touch someone else’s life.
BUT, if you and I are poor in these resources
we are not able to give back and instead spend
our time, energy, and money…on ourselves
and our needs.

I believe there is a better way! I believe we can
have time and financial freedom to give to others
if we just choose to focus our attention on creating
ways to do so. My challenge to you today is…make
time to go out and begin doing something small for
someone with what you do have available.
